Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada. She is best known to Canadians because of her character as a Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea to whom you are enamores. Additionally, she dances and also models. As a Montreal born native, she grew as a child in Texas and has been fascinated by dance and performing. She's been training in different dance styles since her early years. When she was 15 years old, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a household name in 2008 after she appeared in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season, a Univision beauty contest show.
